All of the therapists on board with Off the Pitch are fully registered and accredited professionals. The List keeps on growing, and we always welcome new therapists in every part of Ireland to join our journey

How it works?

  • A club gets in touch.
  • I discuss with the club the service they want to offer their members. Who it applies to, how many sessions the club is willing to fund, and when they want to commence.

The club have an independent meeting to discuss what they want to implement.

  • When the club decide to proceed with Off the Pitch, I will require a list of names of members availing of the service.
  • I will hand-pick 4 therapists that meet your club's individual needs.
  • I will put together a unique identifier code for each person, and put together individual information packs containing the codes, therapist directory for your club and any information the member may need to use the service.

What next?

  • The information packs are distributed. this can been done how ever the club see fit. A quick chat at the end of training, a formal evening explaining what Off the Pitch is or posting them out to each member.
  • At this point, it is up to the memeber to access the therapist.

What is the unique identifier code (UIC)?

  • The UIC is the Key to making all of this work.
  • The minute you are issued a UIC, you are no longer "Joe Bloggs"; you are only known by that code on my end.
  • Clubs do not have access to the codes, and therapists do not have access to the codes. Only the individual and the team at Off the Pitch.
  • The UIC is used for billing purposes and for me to approve the counselling sessions with a specific therapist on our list.
  • When a therapist requires payment, they will only reference the code on the invoice as opposed to the individual's name.
  • No stigma, no pressure.
  • No opportunity to be side lined for "suffering with your mental health"
